I see it says it's 80 there right now. That's so great, very jealous!!! I'm in Michigan, we were between 60-80 for about a week and a half.... 70 degrees yesterday and snowing today and all the way until Monday :(

Need to get out of here!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect!!! We had a bit of a shower in the afternoon, but cleared up enough to bicycle last night. Today it's been sunny and a bit breezy today - the beach was fabulous, so was kayaking on the lagoon.

Nice!

Sounds great! how's the water temp? Are people swimming in the ocean?

Yes, they are. Water temp. is 67. I only went in to my ankles, I'm not a big "ocean" person. (At least for swimming, virtually all other sports and endeavors are fair game.)

For water temperatures, check this out...

It's amazing how close 80 degree water is from our beach...

I have to say this is the busiest spring break season I have ever experienced since moving to Hilton Head.

Sea Pines is booked solid. Cheryl can't show property there this week because all the villas for sale are occupied. I think she found two that could be shown, probably because the owners are staying there.

It's unreal!

The new road through Bluffton is helping quite a bit. I went through there today with little slowdown outbound at 1pm and inbound around 3:30pm. No problems except an idiot on a motorcycle riding up 278 on one wheel.

My 11 year old thought it was "so cool!"

Right in front of the DMV too.

The new shopping center across from Target is very much underway. The new Best Buy already has walls.

Try the "Jade Garden" chinese/japanese restaurant just past Lowes on the left (headed outbound). Great mongolian bbq, sushi and chinese food buffet all the time. Most of the tables were filled at 1:45pm on a Wednesday. Avoid the Lychees (fruit), they are very strange and I usually like strange foods.

The season has started, better get those vacation plans locked down!

At least the beaches won't be crowded this weekend. High of 60 and lows in the 30s?!
Yikes that's cold, especially if it's windy.
I guess we'll do more sightseeing this trip.

No matter what, it will be better than what I'm looking at out my window right now. Jingle Bells comes to mind, but the problem is, it's April not December.

Haha

Yeah Jingle Bells in my head too!!! LOL. Horrible. I wish this snow would go away. At least here none is accumulating... it's all falling and blowing somewhere else! THANKFULLY> What's really horrible is the sky is blue and it's sunny... I don't understand. I'm saying please be 80 when I get to Hilton Head in 3 weeks! Please!!!!!

There is no doubt you will be seeing 80 degree weather. Lucky.

We usually don't have warm weather luck when Easter break is this early. Looks like this year will be no exception.
One year we went to Myrtle Beach and sat in the hotel for four days before we finally drove home. It never did warm up. It was 50 with 20mph winds and driving rain. Blech.

I'll be in HH on Saturday. Accuweather is saying no higher than 65 all week, but Weather.com says warming up to mid 70s on Tuesday and beyond. I'll take that one. What I need to do is stop looking. It's gonna be what it's gonna be. 8)

Yeah, I hear you, it's too hard though! We've been planning this trip since Christmas Eve.... so I've been checking the weather like crazy. Finally, it's almost here, LOL. If I could just leave it alone! I'm just hoping we won't need any pants or long sleeved shirts/sweaters! Just our shorts/skirts/flip flops/and tank tops! Oh and of course our bathing suits
